What will happen in sessions…
We would start by discussing why you've come and what you are hoping to achieve. I will ask you questions about the situation you find yourself in and we will also explore how events in the past and your beliefs about those things might have affected your ability to manage the present. This will help you to understand yourself and your situation better and for us to work on possible changes you could make to help you move forward in a positive way.
I work in a collaborative way, with huge respect and empathy for your views and feelings and how you lead your life. To me, the value of therapy is in its usefulness and I regularly ask for feedback from my clients.
